It was a early start for 2020 ski season, the snow condition was good. However due to the pandemic, social distancing is required at ski hill. It’s not so convenient if you need to have lunch or take some break indoors. This season we skied about 3 hours every time then drive home. It’s not allowed to store personal bags in the ski chalet. We either walk back to our car to get lunch then eat in the chalet or just eat in our car.

Nakiska Ski Resort located at Kananaskis Country in Rockie mountains. From Calgary drive along high way 1 toward Banff direction, take 118 exit then do a left turn, continue drive toward Kanaskis Country direction for about 40 minutes. Then you will see the sign to the ski hill. The snow came very early this year, however the weather kept so warm, most of the now cumulated earlier the winter meltted, the ski hill is not quite fully covered right now.
